After reading “Jack and the Beanstalk”, the second-graders were challenged to design and build a parachute for Jack to use in order to escape from the giant safely. Our goal was to keep Jack in the air longer than our test drop of 2 seconds. We had help from the MCHS STEAM Interns to complete the challenge.
